Head for the Eiffel tower (the big pointy thing in the middle of Paris, and look north across the river to a seriously ugly pile that has loads of steps, curbs and rails...
This is the classic Paris hang out with the young rich kids from the 16th trying hard to rebel, as well as some kids from the banlieu showing them what urban skating is all about. Big show for the tourists who'll take your picture all day.
The site is also used for occasional competitions, where a skate park is built for a weeks show - usuakky in summer. Don't know whether skating here is legal or not, but it is tolerated.
