The North Hobart Cultural Park Skate Park is a modern facility located on the corner of Tasma and Murray Streets, North Hobart (behind Elizabeth College).
The Park consists of a large continuous concrete skate surface with the following activities:
Pyramid with rail
Jump ramp
Ramp with rail
Trick wall
Transition zones of three sides
The facility was planned and designed in consultation with the local skaters, skating bodies and an Advisory Committee was established and continues to meet and provide operational advice.
The North Hobart Cultural Park Skate Park is heavily used by skaters and BMX riders, especially during school holidays and after school in the warmer months. The Park has hosted skate sessions, demonstations and even a championship.
